As with Rauschenberg’s work, texture plays a major role in this large vertical work on canvas. The application of color and brushstrokes build texture while the addition of shapes and lines provide a sense of movement in the piece. A muted color palette in bone, ecru, slate, and charcoal tie together this accomplished work of art.
